January 26th Midday Review: The ChiNext Index fell 0.86% in half a day, and the precious metals sector collectively surged

The Shanghai Composite Index experienced wide fluctuations in the morning, while the ChiNext Index showed weaker performance. The precious metals sector surged, with stocks like SC GOLD and China Gold hitting the daily limit. Oil and gas stocks collectively rose, with Tongyuan Petroleum up over 10%, and China National Offshore Oil Corporation and China Petroleum up over 5%. Pharmaceutical and vaccine stocks were active, with Zhijiang Biology and Te Yi Pharmaceutical hitting the daily limit. On the downside, the commercial aerospace concept adjusted, with Bowei Alloy and China Satellite hitting the daily limit down. More stocks fell than rose, with over 3,700 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing declines, and a total transaction volume of 2.26 trillion in the morning session.
