U.S. Corn Export Inspections Rise, Wheat Slips

U.S. corn export inspections increased to 1.51 million metric tons, up from 1.49 million tons last week and 1.25 million tons last year. Wheat inspections fell to 351,001 tons, down from 397,774 tons last week and 484,544 tons last year. Soybean inspections totaled 1.32 million tons, slightly down from 1.35 million tons the previous week but up from 738,028 tons last year. China was the top destination for soybeans, South Korea for wheat, and Mexico for corn. Despite a weaker U.S. dollar, grain futures fell, which is unusual.
