Henry Hub natural gas futures jumped past 26% to $6.69 per 1 million BTU.In corporate news, Shell (SHEL), Eni (E) and their partners at the Karachaganak oil field in Kazakhstan lost an international arbitration case and face compensation payments to the government of as much as $4 billion, Bloomberg reported. Shell shares were down 0.2%, and Eni eased 0.1%.Baker Hughes ( BKR ) shares gained 4.4% after it reported a surprise adjusted earnings and revenue growth in Q4.Chevron ( CVX ) has ramped up shipments of Venezuelan crude, assembling its largest fleet of vessels in nearly a year, as the oil major deployed 15 vessels in January to move at least 200,000 barrels a day, versus nine ships in the previous month, Bloomberg reported, citing shipping reports and vessel movements.
