CHOW TAI FOOK Life Insurance releases voluntary ESG disclosure
CTF SERVICES (00659.HK) subsidiary Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance released its first independent Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure report, proactively demonstrating the company's strategy of integrating sustainable development concepts into its business operations. The report covers the fiscal year ending June 30 of last year and summarizes and elaborates on the key points of the company's ESG strategy.
Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance stated that the relevant strategy is consistent with the overall direction of its parent company, CTF SERVICES, and reflects significant ESG issues related to its core insurance business. The report also addresses stakeholder concerns, including corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and the company's impact on the environment and society. To implement its core ESG strategy, the company identified 20 significant ESG issues through a materiality assessment and selected five topics—greenhouse gas emissions, data and cybersecurity, customer well-being, employee health, and corporate governance—as priority focuses for its ESG process
