The final of the LCK Cup for League of Legends in South Korea will be held overseas for the first time, with matches taking place at Kai Tak from February 28 for two consecutive days
The Korean League of Legends Professional League (LCK Cup) announced that this year's promotion tournament and finals will be held on February 28 and March 1 at the Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong. This marks the first time since the LCK was established in 2012 that the finals will be held in an overseas city outside of Korea. Ticket prices range from HKD 488 to HKD 1,688, and there will also be an esports carnival and limited merchandise sales.
The organizer, Riot Games, stated that the choice of Hong Kong as the finals venue is due to the large fan base of the event in Asia and globally, as well as the convenience for more overseas audiences to attend. According to statistics, the average number of viewers for LCK matches in 2025 is expected to exceed 600,000 per minute, with more than half coming from overseas markets
