CATHAY PAC AIR transported approximately 60 elite show jumping horses to the port
Cathay Cargo announced that it has successfully airlifted approximately 60 elite show jumping horses from Europe to Hong Kong. These horses will participate in the Longines Hong Kong International Equestrian Festival held at the AsiaWorld-Expo from the 30th of this month to the 1st of next month.
Cathay Cargo stated that its team meticulously planned the logistics, arranging for the horses to depart from Liège Airport in Belgium, flying directly to Hong Kong International Airport on a Boeing 747 freighter in approximately 12 hours. During the flight, the spacious main cabin of the Boeing 747 is equipped with a precisely controlled temperature environment, providing a safe and comfortable transport environment for long-distance travel, which helps ensure that the horses arrive in Hong Kong in a stable emotional state and good physical condition, ready to compete at their best.
Company director Peng Deming stated that, leveraging its expertise in live animal logistics services, Cathay Cargo's related business has recorded year-on-year growth in cargo volume. Supporting the Longines Hong Kong International Equestrian Festival once again further solidifies Cathay Cargo's market position as the preferred partner for high-value animal transportation
