French Minister: Calls on G7 to Avoid Unilateral Measures
French Finance Minister Roland Lescure urged his G7 counterparts to avoid unilateral actions. This came after a conflict between Europe and the United States last week over President Trump's tariff threats. The French Ministry of Finance stated after the meeting: "Lescure emphasized that in addressing the current international tensions, dialogue and the search for common solutions should take precedence over unilateral measures, and pointed out that the collective interest lies in cooperation and dialogue, rather than moving towards division."
