Qiu Yinghua will depart for Kuala Lumpur tomorrow for a visit

The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Edward Yau, will depart for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia tomorrow (29) afternoon for a visit.

Edward Yau will attend a Lunar New Year dinner hosted by the newly established Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Kuala Lumpur on the 30th of this month to strengthen connections with local sectors and promote new business opportunities in Hong Kong. He will also meet with senior officials of the Malaysian government to exchange views on promoting closer economic cooperation between the two places.

Edward Yau will return to Hong Kong on the 31st of this month. During his absence, the Deputy Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Bernard Chan, will act as the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development
