Coinbase has said users can manage these positions alongside their existing crypto, equities, and cash balances within the same interface, with minimum trade sizes starting at $1 in USD or USDC.The full U.S. rollout comes as prediction markets are seeing a surge in interest and activity. Combined volumes on two dominant platforms, Polymarket and Kalshi, surpassed tens of billions of dollars last year and are on track to hit record highs again this month, according to The Block’s Data Dashboard. Traditional trading and fintech firms — including CME Group through its partnership with FanDuel, as well as Robinhood and Webull — have also recently added prediction markets as a new product category.
