Alibaba-W (09988.HK) supported AI startup Moons of Darkness's K2.5 model has topped multiple global rankings just one day after its launch.
On the authoritative ranking LMarena, Kimi K2.5 ranks first among open-source models, only behind closed-source models such as Claude opus 4.5 and Genimi3 Pro. Additionally, on the list of the renowned independent evaluation agency Artificial Analysis, Kimi K2.5 ranks fifth, also the highest among all open-source models
