Toyota discontinued the gas-powered C-HR after the 2022 model year to make room for the more efficient, more practical Corolla Cross hybrid.</p><p>When Toyota unveiled the C-HR EV last May, it was widely viewed as a new entry-level crossover SUV, like the outgoing version, which started at under $25,000.</p><p>Although it was expected to start at around $30,000 to $35,000, Toyota’s newest EV will cost slightly more. Toyota announced prices for the 2026 C-HR start at $37,000. It’s available in two trims: SE and XSE, with the latter starting from $39,000.</p></div>
