The U.S. Department of the Treasury released the latest semi-annual currency policy report, announcing that Thailand has been added to the currency monitoring list, while Singapore remains on it. The report indicates that there are currently 10 economies on the monitoring list, including China, Japan, and South Korea. Although no major trading partner triggered all three currency manipulation criteria, the Treasury will continue to monitor whether relevant countries are using unilateral interventions to suppress the value of their currencies.
