
Jiangnan Shipyard: Signed a construction contract for 4 large liquefied natural gas carriers with a capacity of 175,000 cubic meters
According to Jiangnan Shipyard, on January 30, China Shipbuilding Jiangnan Shipyard successfully signed a construction contract for 4 large liquefied natural gas carriers with a capacity of 175,000 cubic meters in collaboration with China Shipbuilding Industry Trade Co., Ltd. The series of ships is scheduled for delivery between 2028 and 2029. These vessels will be constructed by Jiangnan Shipyard and, upon delivery, will be leased to Shell (Singapore) Trading Company under a long-term lease agreement, with Minsheng Financial Leasing acting as the shipowner, Shandong Marine Energy responsible for commercial management, and Shell International Shipping in charge of technical operations
