Xiaomi EV delivered a record 50,212 vehicles in December.</p>                    <div>        <p>Xiaomi EV monthly deliveries</p>                <p><span>                <span></span>                2024            </span>                        <span>                <span></span>                2025            </span>                    </p>                                                    </div>            <p>The SU7 will soon undergo a facelift, with current deliveries primarily consisting of the YU7 SUV (sport utility vehicle), said Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder, chairman, and CEO.</p><p>A limited number of YU7 display models and stock vehicles remain available, and customers purchasing now can expect delivery before the Chinese New Year, Lei added.</p><p>China's 2026 Spring Festival begins on February 17, with the holiday period running from February 15 to 23.</p><p>Xiaomi EV began pre-sales for the updated SU7 on January 7, with a starting price of RMB 229,900 ($33,070), representing a RMB 14,000 or 6.48% increase from the previous generation's RMB 215,900 starting price.</p><p>The new-generation SU7 boasts a range of up to 902 kilometers and comes standard with LiDAR across all variants.</p><p>Revealing the updated SU7 at the beginning of the month means its contribution to monthly sales will be limited, as potential buyers may wait for the upgraded model.</p><p>Early 2026 marks a traditional slow season for China's overall auto market, compounded by challenges from reduced policy support.</p><p>On January 15, Xiaomi introduced a 7-year low-interest financing incentive for all YU7 variants.
