New World Development (00017.HK) announced that the company has further learned from its controlling shareholder Chow Tai Fook Enterprises that it has been approached by several potential investors regarding possible investments in the company and has received their proposals. To date, these proposals do not intend to form a comprehensive offer for the company's shares, and there is no guarantee that potential investments will proceed.
Chow Tai Fook Enterprises is continuing discussions with these potential investors, but it has not yet reached any agreements with any of these potential investors, including the amount, nature, or form of potential investments
