POP MART will establish its European headquarters in London

At the recent China-UK Business Forum, Pop Mart (09992.HK) founder and CEO Wang Ning, along with several other entrepreneurs, was invited to participate in a closed-door "CEO Roundtable" meeting with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

During the meeting, Pop Mart announced that it will establish its European headquarters in London and will open seven new offline stores, including flagship stores in Birmingham, Cardiff, and Oxford Street in London. The company also plans to expand to 20 stores across Europe, with related investments expected to create over 150 jobs in the UK.

Wang Ning expressed during his meeting with Rishi Sunak that London, as a global creative ecosystem hub, is an important choice for brands to establish themselves in Europe and deepen their global market presence. With the establishment of its European headquarters, Pop Mart will further integrate global creative resources, gather outstanding artists in Europe for in-depth cooperation, continuously explore the creative value of IP, and promote the exchange and integration of fashion cultures between China and foreign countries
