
JD.com Intelligent Robots and Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Base Settles in Wuxi, with a Total Planned Investment of Approximately 10 Billion RMB
According to domestic media reports, JD.com's Wuxi Intelligent Robotics recently held a signing and unveiling ceremony for the Advanced Manufacturing Industry Base project. At the event, JD's Retail Robotics Division announced the JD Robotics Industry Ecosystem Empowerment Plan, which will invest over 10 billion yuan (the same below) in resources over three years to help 100 brands achieve sales exceeding 1 billion yuan and lead robots into one million terminal scenarios.
During the event, JD's Industrial Development signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Wuxi High-tech Zone for the JD Wuxi Intelligent Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Industry Base project. The first phase of the project is planned to start within the year, with a total planned investment of about 10 billion yuan. It will plan to build "two parks, one base, and three centers," including a Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Park, an Intelligent Driving and High-end Equipment Industrial Park, which will provide high-level carriers for innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises, promote the landing of JD's ecological incubation projects, and build a "transformation - production - application" closed loop; a Robotics Manufacturing Headquarters Base, focusing on attracting industry leaders and unicorn companies to create a large-scale manufacturing hub; an Experience Exhibition and Sales Center, a Public Technology Service Center, and a Research and Development Incubation Center, focusing on product consumption, technical breakthroughs, and enterprise cultivation, facilitating the "industry-university-research-application" innovation system.
Currently, JD Group has cumulatively launched 14 projects in Wuxi, including the first national store of JD Outlet, JD Wuxi Intelligent Supply Chain Industrial Park, JD (Wuxi) Cross-border Industrial Complex, and JD's unmanned logistics delivery pilot, with a total investment of 14.35 billion yuan, covering multiple fields such as modern logistics, e-commerce, smart cities, artificial intelligence, and financial services
