According to the National Healthcare Security Administration, in 2026, there will be a continued increase in the intensity of flying inspections, achieving coverage of all provinces in the country, including designated medical institutions, handling agencies, insured individuals, and insured units, covering various types of insurance such as basic medical insurance, maternity insurance, critical illness insurance, and long-term care insurance. Among them, the annual flying inspections will focus on regions with high operational risks of medical insurance funds, abnormally high hospitalization rates, unusual medical insurance payment rates, and poor rectification of flying inspection issues. It will also focus on designated medical institutions with large fund usage, concentrated reports, and clues identified through big data screening, as well as key areas such as orthopedics, oncology, examinations and inspections, ophthalmology, dentistry, general surgery, and neurology.
