According to a report by The Paper, Xu Li, a member of the Shanghai Municipal Political Consultative Conference and Chairman and CEO of SenseTime (00020.HK), stated yesterday (the 4th) during the fourth session of the 14th Municipal Political Consultative Conference that breakthroughs in model capabilities continue to provide momentum for the rise of "super individuals." The super individual model is most applicable in scenarios that can maximize the collaborative advantages of "individual + AI," such as office work, short drama creation, marketing, and coding.

Xu pointed out that the current innovation in large models in the United States is characterized by a "superstar" dominated model, where a few teams control a large amount of computing power and capital investment. China should think more about how to construct its own super individual ecosystem. If large models are only used as management tools for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, commercialization will be difficult to close the loop; however, once they are transformed into process-oriented delivery that empowers individuals to complete deliveries, the resulting productivity explosion is very evident.

During the Two Sessions, Xu proposed two systematic suggestions, including recommending that the government take the lead in promoting the construction of a public vocational training system for AI tool applications, and fully leveraging Shanghai's diverse application scenario advantages to promote "scenario-first trials," encouraging diversified exploration and practice in the development of super individuals
