
The 10-year German bond yield was flat on Friday, roughly unchanged for the week
On Friday (February 6), in the European market's late trading, the yield on Germany's 10-year government bonds remained roughly flat at 2.842%, down 0.1 basis points for the week. It had risen continuously from February 2 to 3, reaching a high of 2.903%, before gradually giving back gains, opening lower at 2.812% on February 6. The yield on the 2-year German bonds fell by 0.9 basis points to 2.086%, down 0.3 basis points for the week, trading overall in the range of 2.130% to 2.068%; the yield on the 30-year German bonds rose by 1.1 basis points to 3.512%, up 1.8 basis points for the week. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year German bonds increased by 0.833 basis points to +75.444 basis points, up 0.156 basis points for the week
