<div id="readability-page-1" class="page"><div> <p>Songbird Tech has filed a pair of patent infringement lawsuits against Tesla and X, alleging issues with voice-assistance integrations.</p> <p>Per the suit, Songbird accuses Tesla and X of infringing their patent titled “Audio Message Driven Customer Interaction Queuing System,” which they filed back in September 2014.</p> <p>The suit alleges that Tesla’s Grok AI Assistant’s voice features and integrations with Apple Music, Audible, Spotify and Apple Podcasts infringe on their existing patent—specifically, the ability to record, store and transmit audio to servers.The claim notes that Tesla’s infotainment systems on the Model S, Model Y, Model 3, Model X and Cybertruck all infringe on this patent. For X, the lawsuit targets Grok AI, which can also record, store and transmit audio to servers after integrating with other apps such as those listed in the Tesla lawsuit.</p> <p>Songbird also filed a similar lawsuit against Zoho Corporation, an Indian-based SaaS company that offers CRM and IT management software.</p> <p>This is not the first time that Songbird has gone after tech companies for patent infringement. The company also sued Samsung, LG Electronics and ASUSTek in 2023 for similar concerns.</p> <p>Songbird filed the trio of suits on February 5 in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.</p> <p>Neither Tesla nor X has provided a public response, nor has it responded to the suit through the court system.</p>   </div></div>
