The Travel Industry Council expects 2,200 mainland tour groups to visit Hong Kong during the Spring Festival Golden Week, involving 86,000 travelers
The Tourism Commission expects that during this year's nine-day Mainland Spring Festival Golden Week, there will be 2,200 inbound travel groups from the Mainland visiting Hong Kong, averaging about 244 groups per day, involving approximately 86,000 visitors.
During the Mainland Spring Festival Golden Week, the Tourism Commission will increase manpower to inspect locations with a high number of inbound travel group activities, including major entry points, popular tourist attractions, registered shops, and dining establishments visited by inbound groups, to ensure that group activities proceed in an orderly manner
