NIO recalls over 246,000 vehicles due to software issues
NIO Inc. (09866.HK)(NIO.US) is recalling 246,200 vehicles due to safety hazards related to software issues, marking the largest recall in the company's history.
The State Administration for Market Regulation of China issued a statement indicating that the recalled electric vehicles include the ES8, ES6, and EC6 models, produced between March 16, 2018, and January 16, 2023. The statement noted that some of the recalled vehicles have software problems that may cause the dashboard and central control screen to briefly go black
