Over 10,000 kilometers, domestically produced "Snow Leopard" vehicles complete field testing in Antarctica
On February 10th, it was reported by China's 42nd Antarctic Expedition Team that the domestically developed "Snow Leopard" 6×6 wheeled vehicle has recently successfully completed field tests in the extreme environment and harsh conditions of the Antarctic interior, accumulating over 10,000 kilometers of travel with "zero faults" in reliable operation. A responsible person from Tsinghua University's National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Green Vehicles and Transportation stated that the completion of the 10,000-kilometer operational verification of the "Snow Leopard" 6×6 wheeled vehicle in the Antarctic interior is a comprehensive test of the country's engineering design capabilities, manufacturing levels, and system integration capabilities. In the next phase, core technology research and development will focus on power systems, configuration design, energy management, and intelligent control, while continuously promoting the application and transformation of advanced results in corresponding industrial fields.
