In the latest quarterly report by the National Association of REALTORS®, it was found that home prices increased in 73% of metro markets, specifically in 168 out of 230 regions, during the fourth quarter of 2025. This percentage is slightly lower compared to the third quarter, which saw a 77% increase. Additionally, 5% of metro areas, equating to 12 out of 230 regions, experienced double-digit price growth, a slight increase from the previous quarter's 4%. The report aims to offer crucial data on median home prices and housing affordability to various participants in the real estate industry, including agents, homebuyers, and sellers, to keep them informed about the market trends.
