The government partners with 29 large enterprises to provide Hong Kong youth with summer internship opportunities both domestically and internationally

The government has collaborated with 29 large enterprises to launch the Youth Bureau's Mainland and Overseas Summer Internship Program 2026, providing Hong Kong youth with internship opportunities in the Mainland and overseas. The participating companies include Tencent (00700.HK), HK & China Gas (00003.HK), BOC HONG KONG (02388.HK), Hang Lung Properties (00101.HK), and China Biologic Products Holdings (01177.HK), among others.

Internship positions are available across multiple provinces and cities in Mainland China, including several cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, as well as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Hangzhou. Overseas countries include Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Australia. The range of internship positions is also broader than before, covering financial services, innovation and technology, pharmaceuticals, logistics, real estate, construction, retail, hospitality, and utilities
