Jiao Yahui, Director of the Grassroots Department of the National Health Commission, introduced that as the aging process in our country deepens, the demand for services such as blood dialysis has further increased. By 2025, the National Health Commission will actively deploy and successfully complete the goal that "counties with a permanent population of over 100,000 can provide blood dialysis services." Currently, there are more than 8,400 medical institutions across the country that can provide blood dialysis services, mainly in secondary and tertiary hospitals, with most located in cities and county towns.
