Brookfield Raises Dividend After Strong Quarter for Asset Management

Brookfield has announced a 17% increase in its quarterly dividend following a strong performance in its asset management business. Distributable earnings for the quarter were $1.59 billion, surpassing analyst expectations. Net income rose significantly to $1.68 billion, with revenue increasing by 3.8% to $20.16 billion. The board declared a quarterly payout of 7 cents per share, payable on March 31. The asset management segment achieved record distributable earnings, while the wealth solutions segment also saw growth. Brookfield ended December with $188 billion in capital available for new investments.
