Hermès CEO Axel Dumas stated that Epstein had attempted to approach him multiple times
Axel Dumas, the Executive Chairman of Hermès International SCA, stated that Jeffrey Epstein met with him in March 2013 at the brand's workshop. Dumas mentioned that he had repeatedly declined Epstein's requests for meetings, and that the visit in 2013 was not pre-arranged; Epstein had "forced his way in" following Woody Allen and others. Dumas emphasized that due to Epstein's "notorious reputation," he had serious doubts about him at the time and actively avoided him; in addition, Hermès had rejected Epstein's request to provide interior decoration for his private jet in 2012
