On Lunar New Year's Eve, around 11:40 AM, Malaysia's flight FY3970 and Hong Kong's flight HU706 landed successively at Haikou Meilan International Airport (hereinafter referred to as "Meilan Airport"). This is the first Spring Festival since the Hainan Free Trade Port's closure. With the release of the visa-free policy benefits, cross-border passenger flow continues to rise. Since the start of the Spring Festival travel rush, Hainan has welcomed a peak in inbound and outbound passenger flow. According to statistics, on New Year's Eve, Meilan Airport had a total of 41 international flights, with more than 6,000 inbound and outbound passengers.
