Japanese sushi chain Gatten Sushi is set to expand into Hong Kong by September 2024. According to Ming Pao, RDC Group's Managing Director, Toshikazu Tabata, expressed confidence in the Hong Kong market due to the local population's willingness to spend on food. The company plans to open locations in Causeway Bay and Tuen Mun within this year, aiming to increase the number of outlets in Hong Kong to ten by 2030.
