Citi published a research report indicating that during the first seven days of the Lunar New Year golden week, the number of visitors to Macau reached 1.2125 million. Among them, the visitor count on February 19 reached 227,900, setting a new historical single-day high. Mainland visitors accounted for approximately 76.9% of the total visitor count, while Hong Kong visitors accounted for about 16.5%. The bank believes that the visitor trend in Macau is positive and aligns with the predictions of the Macau Tourism Board.

Citi's forecast for Macau's gaming revenue in February this year is MOP 20 billion, representing a year-on-year growth of 1%, reaching about 79% of the level in February 2019. Specifically, the bank expects that the average daily gaming revenue in Macau during the period from February 19 to 23 will be approximately MOP 1.1 billion, while the average daily gaming revenue for other days in February is expected to be around MOP 750 million
