
The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing plans to complete the review of the listing of aerospace companies within the year and propose consultations
The new "Fiscal Budget" mentions that the government has requested the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (00388.HK) to review relevant listing regulations to facilitate and attract more aerospace companies to list in Hong Kong. Government sources expect that the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will complete the review and propose consultations within this year.
Sources indicate that the current "Listing Rules" already have Chapters 18A and 18C to facilitate the listing of unprofitable biotechnology companies and specialized technology companies. Whether the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will need to establish new chapters or expand the applicability of existing chapters is still to be assessed; it has been noted that investors have a certain level of interest
