Lalamove welcomes multiple measures in the "2026/27 Financial Budget" that promote local innovation and technology development and support businesses going overseas.

Lalamove believes that the drone traffic management system, multi-user sharing platform, and other measures implemented by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government in phases since the first half of the year, along with the gradually improving civil aviation laws and regulatory framework, will be key elements in promoting the safe and steady development of the industry, ultimately allowing both the industry and the public to see a promising future for the low-altitude economy.

Lalamove stated that it will continue to work closely with relevant government departments to embrace the vast opportunities brought by the low-altitude economy. Currently, the scale of the low-altitude economy in mainland China is substantial, and various supporting measures and regulations are also maturing. Lalamove hopes that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government can take a leading role, including clearly proposing the KPIs and timelines for the commercial operation of the low-altitude economy in the upcoming "Action Plan for Developing the Low-Altitude Economy," such as setting indicators for the number of drone flight routes, talent training, the proportion of industrial development in Hong Kong's GDP, the number of low-altitude economy enterprises, etc., along with a timeline for achieving these goals, while also looking forward to the government expanding the application of drones to more areas.

The company hopes that the government will continue to create a space for the transformation of innovation and technology achievements, including considering the establishment of relevant performance indicators (KPIs) under the framework of introducing industry-leading technologies and promoting digital transformation with a funding of 100 million. This will encourage departments to adopt technologies from local innovation and technology companies rather than being limited to traditional enterprises familiar with bidding rules; at the same time, it will provide incentives for businesses to develop innovative technologies that assist public administration. Proactive government procurement policies can encourage competition, bring new ideas to public administration, and provide more application scenarios for startups, thereby accumulating operational experience and ultimately creating a win-win situation for the government, industry, and the public in Hong Kong
