"Hong Kong Stocks" Hang Seng Index opened down 324 points, oil and gold stocks rose

The U.S. and Israel are conducting military strikes against Iran, causing oil prices to surge and stock markets in the Asia-Pacific region to decline. The Hong Kong stock market opened lower following the external markets. The Hang Seng Index opened down 324 points or 1.2%, at 26,305 points; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index opened down 88 points or 1%, at 8,771 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index opened down 91 points or 1.8%, at 5,046 points.

Oil prices rose significantly, with Sinopec (00386.HK) opening up 2.4%, PetroChina (00857.HK) and CNOOC (00883.HK) opening up 5.9% and 5.1%, respectively. Among energy transportation stocks, COSCO Shipping Energy (01138.HK) opened up 11%. The mainland shipping index's European line futures main contract once hit the daily limit, with shipping stocks Orient Overseas (00316.HK) and COSCO Shipping Holdings (01919.HK) opening up 2.1% and 3%, respectively.

Gold prices increased, with Shandong Gold (01787.HK) and Zijin Mining (01818.HK) opening up 3.9% and 3.2%, respectively, and China Gold International (02099.HK) opening up 3.4%, while Zijin (02899.HK) opened up 2.5%.

In the technology sector, Tencent (00700.HK) and JD.com (09618.HK) opened down 1.3% and 1.4%, respectively, while Alibaba (09988.HK), Meituan (03690.HK), Kuaishou (01024.HK), and Baidu (09888.HK) opened down 1.8% to 2.5%. NetEase (09999.HK) opened up 0.4%. In the chip sector, SMIC (00981.HK) and Hua Hong Semiconductor (01347.HK) opened down 2.1% and 2.8%, respectively. In the automotive sector, BYD (01211.HK), Xiaomi (01810.HK), and Leapmotor (09863.HK) opened down 2% to 2.4%, while Nio (09866.HK) and XPeng (09868.HK) opened down 4% and 3.2%, respectively.

Xinyi Glass (00868.HK) reported a net profit of 2.729 billion RMB last year, down 19%, with a final dividend increased to 21.5 HK cents. The stock opened up 1.3% and rose further after opening. CICC indicated that Xinyi Glass maintains resilience at the cyclical bottom, with a declining debt ratio continuing high-quality operations. Xinyi Solar (00968.HK) reported a net profit of 845 million RMB last year, down about 16%, with a dividend of 0.8 HK cents, and the stock opened down 2.3%. Fosun International (00656.HK) plans to repurchase shares not exceeding 1 billion after this fiscal year's performance, and the stock opened down 2.1% along with the market. New World (00017.HK) narrowed its interim loss to 3.73 billion, and the stock opened down 3.1%.

In the financial sector, HSBC (00005.HK) opened down 3.3% at 142.5 HKD, while Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (00388.HK) and AIA (01299.HK) opened down 1.6% and 0.6%, respectively. Bank of China Hong Kong (02388.HK) opened down 2.5%. Macau's gross gaming revenue in February increased by 50% year-on-year, with gaming stocks Galaxy Entertainment (00027.HK) and Sands China (01928.HK) opening down 2.6% and 1.2%, respectively
