Dongxing Securities published a report stating that southbound funds into Hong Kong stocks slowed down last week (February 23 to 27), with a net inflow of HKD 6.7 billion. The sectors with net inflows were information technology, discretionary consumption, and real estate construction; the sectors with net outflows were telecommunications and utilities. The stocks with the highest net purchases were Meituan (03690.HK), Xiaomi Corporation (01810.HK), and Tencent (00700.HK).

Last week, the net inflow of ETFs (Hong Kong Stock Connect + QDII) from mainland China to the Hong Kong market accelerated. The total scale expanded to HKD 444.26 billion, an increase of HKD 13.64 billion. Among them, the net inflow of Hong Kong Stock Connect ETFs was HKD 1.9 billion, and the net inflow of QDII ETFs was HKD 9 billion.
