HORIZON HSD first equipped with iCAR V27 featuring 560 TOPS chip
According to domestic media reports, iCAR, in collaboration with HORIZON, has released the full-scene intelligent driving solution HSD (Horizon SuperDrive) based on the production performance of the iCAR V27. As the first hard-core SUV model of HSD, the new vehicle is equipped with a single chip with a computing power of 560 TOPS, the Zhengcheng 6P chip, and 27 high-precision sensors (including lidar).
At the algorithm level, the system is based on the self-developed BPU Nash architecture and adopts the mainland's first mass-produced "true one-stage end-to-end" large model, achieving direct mapping from photon input to trajectory output, with a system response speed improved by 42% compared to humans. This solution has strong generalization capabilities that do not rely on high-precision maps, supporting autonomous planning in "roaming mode" in environments without maps or roads, covering complex scenarios such as urban congestion and off-road traversing. The new vehicle will officially launch next Friday (13th)
