The Pentagon points out that Anthropic AI products pose supply chain risks
The U.S. Department of Defense announced on Thursday that it has officially notified AI supplier Anthropic that the company and its products have been identified as posing a risk to the U.S. supply chain, effective immediately.
Anthropic had previously stated that it would challenge the Pentagon in court if it was designated as a supply chain risk.
A spokesperson for Anthropic has not yet responded. The Department of Defense also did not disclose when or how the Pentagon notified the company
