Crypto In America journalist Eleanor Terrett reported on the X platform that the U.S. Department of Justice has requested a retrial for Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm on two charges that the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict in the first trial: money laundering and sanctions violation. Prosecutors have proposed a retrial in early October, although Storm's motion to overturn the undocumented money transfer charges under Rule 29 is still pending.
