Apple (AAPL.US) has officially launched the iPhone 17e and MacBook Neo today (11th) in mainland China. Both products have broken Apple's previous price bottom line, with prices after national subsidies falling below 4,000 yuan (RMB).

According to domestic media reports, a staff member at an Apple store in downtown Shanghai stated that the official price of the MacBook Neo is 4,599 yuan, and after the national subsidy, the price is equivalent to an additional 15% discount, bringing it down to only 3,909 yuan. However, this laptop's overall configuration is lower than that of other Apple laptop series, as it uses a mobile-level A-series chip instead of the M-series chips found in other Apple laptops; the display has also been downgraded to a 13-inch Liquid Retina screen.

The other low-priced mobile product, the iPhone 17e, is available in two storage versions: 256GB and 512GB, priced at 4,499 yuan and 6,499 yuan, respectively. The national subsidy cap for mobile products is 500 yuan, bringing the starting price down to 3,999 yuan. With the trade-in discount, the actual purchase price can be as low as 3,299 yuan
