
U.S. Republican Senator says: The chief prosecutor of the Powell investigation has been replaced
U.S. Senate Banking Committee Republican leader Tim Scott stated that the "chief prosecutor" responsible for the Department of Justice's criminal investigation into Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell has been replaced. "I believe the chief prosecutor has been changed... I think that's a fact."
The current investigation is being handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia, which is led by Jeanine Pirro. Scott did not specify who he was referring to as the "chief prosecutor" or the reasons for the replacement
