SINGAPORE, March 12 (Reuters) - Asia’s diesel and jet fuel market structures were firmly supported as front-month supplies dwindled even further from northeast Asia, with diesel cash premiums again at fresh highs. The east-west spreads continued to narrow, as Asian markets were reeling from further lack of spot availability after China ordered refiners to cease fuel exports this month. April east-west spreads went into smaller discounts of around $60 per metric ton. Meanwhile, April regional spot discussions were at a standstill for now, traders said.
Refining margins (GO10SGCKMc1) surged back to more than three-year highs, reflecting worries of tightened regional supplies.
Cash differentials (GO10-SIN-DIF) gained to a new high of nearly $35 a barrel again as firmer bids in the trading window were readily available.
On jet fuel markets, traders also factored in the lack of barrels from China in the near-term and deals on the trading window were brisk.
Regrade (JETREG10SGMc1) surged back to almost $29 a barrel, as buying interest firmed.
