"Foreign Exchange" The US dollar rises above the 100 level, increasing for two consecutive weeks
The Middle East war has prompted investors to turn to safe-haven assets, with the US dollar strengthening on Friday, marking its second consecutive week of gains. The US Dollar Index rose 0.8% to 100.495.
The dollar against the yen is currently at 159.71. Each hundred yen is quoted at 4.90 Hong Kong dollars.
The euro against the dollar has fallen to 1.142.
The pound against the dollar has dropped to 1.322.
The dollar against the Swiss franc has risen to 0.791.
The dollar against the Canadian dollar has increased to 1.372.
The Australian dollar against the US dollar has fallen to 0.698
