Futu Investment Expo attracts 12,000 attendees and will launch AI Agent to lower the threshold for quantitative trading

The third "Futu Investment Expo" organized by Futu Securities was held last Thursday and Friday (13th and 14th) at the Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Centre, attracting over 12,000 investors over the two-day event. In addition to showcasing various financial management and private wealth services, Futu announced a significant technological upgrade on the first day of the exhibition, planning to launch a dedicated AI Agent feature that allows users to generate, adjust, and backtest technical indicators using natural language without any programming code, assisting users in executing investment strategies and risk management more efficiently. Users Execute Investment Strategies More Efficiently Regarding the upcoming AI Agent feature, Yao Wenqing, head of Futu's AI Growth Center, introduced that any AI Agent in the future can seamlessly connect through Futu OpenAPI. Users do not need to have a programming background; they can complete the entire process from environment deployment, strategy creation, backtesting optimization to live trading through natural language dialogue, achieving full automation of the investment process. Xie Zhijian, Managing Director of Futu Securities, stated that the company continues to drive financial innovation with self-developed technology, hoping to assist investors at all levels in making more efficient decisions and reducing market noise through the fully evolved "NiuNiu AI" and related intelligent assistants. He emphasized that Futu is actively integrating investment, virtual asset ecosystems, and daily financial management scenarios to build a comprehensive integrated financial service system. This year's exhibition is the largest in history, gathering a total of 19 financial institutions, exchanges, and representatives from 7 listed companies, and hosting 36 sharing sessions and workshops. Notable speakers included Tom Lee, Chairman of BitMine, known as the "Wall Street Oracle," who was present to analyze the cryptocurrency market cycle and the prospects of virtual assets; senior representatives from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and Nasdaq also deconstructed global investment opportunities.
