The Bloomberg Dollar Index increased by 0.27% to 1219.48 points, marking a cumulative weekly gain of 0.71%. The overall trading range was 1202.47-1219.85 points. The USD/JPY pair rose 0.28% to 160.25 yen, with a cumulative weekly increase of 0.65%. The overall trading range was 158.02-160.41 yen. Investors are concerned that the yen may break down further after breaching the 160 level. The EUR/JPY pair gained 0.15% for the week, up 0.16% cumulatively. The GBP/JPY pair fell 0.19%, with a cumulative weekly gain of 0.10%.
