Ant Group completes its investment in BRIGHT SMART at HKD 3.28 per share for full acquisition
BRIGHT SMART (01428.HK) announced that WEALTHINESS AND PROSPERITY HOLDING LIMITED, a subsidiary of ANT GROUP, has completed the share purchase agreement as the offeror. The offeror and its concert parties hold approximately 50.55% of the equity, with a cash consideration of over HKD 2.814 billion, equivalent to HKD 3.28 per share sold.
The offeror has also proposed an unconditional mandatory cash offer at an offer price of HKD 3.28 per share, representing a discount of approximately 74% compared to yesterday's (30th) closing price of HKD 12.65
