The first sedan is expected to be equipped with BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, released last month, to achieve a charging experience comparable to gas refueling.</p><p>In February, a semi-official BYD account released teaser images of Fang Cheng Bao's first sedan, saying 2026 would welcome the brand's &#34;most beautiful sedan.&#34;</p><p>It is widely expected to be part of the all-new &#34;Mei&#34; (Magnesium) series, and Fang Cheng Bao's first sedan may be named the &#34;Mei 7.&#34;</p><p>The car may feature a three-motor system with peak power approaching 1,000 horsepower, and be equipped with the DiSus-M intelligent magneto-rheological body control system, some local media reported at the time.</p><p>Since the brand's launch in August 2023, Fang Cheng Bao has rolled out the Bao 5, Bao 8, and the Tai series SUVs. The sedan series will become one of the most important new product lines since the brand's inception, and potentially a key step in its transition from a niche player to a mass-market brand.</p><p>Xiong linked Fang Cheng Bao's March sales performance to BYD Group's technology releases.
