Commodity futures closed with the main Shanghai silver futures contract falling over 5%, platinum down over 4%, Shanghai tin down over 3%, and palladium down over 2%. Crude oil, fuel oil, PET bottle flakes, and PTA rose over 3%, while methanol, PVC, short-staple fiber, and LU fuel oil rose over 2%.
