
10-Year Treasury Yield Hits Daily High, Investors Focus on U.S. Short-Term Inflation Expectations
The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield rose more than 3 basis points, hitting a daily high above 4.31% after the release of U.S. consumer confidence and inflation expectations survey results. At 20:30 Beijing time, it plunged to 4.2636% to a daily low upon the release of the CPI inflation report.
The 2-year U.S. Treasury yield briefly rose back above 3.79%, falling to 3.7453% to a daily low at the time of the CPI data release.
The 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) yield has fluctuated between 1.9092% and 1.9464% so far today, and the 2-year TIPS yield has fluctuated between 0.8260% and 0.9268%.
