
Two-Year German Bond Yield Falls About 11 Basis Points on Friday, Down Over 19 Basis Points for the Week
In the late European session on Friday (April 17), the yield on Germany's 10-year government bond fell 7.2 basis points to 2.960%, with a weekly decline of 9.8 basis points. It declined steadily until 20:30 Beijing time on Friday before experiencing a brief sharp drop, trading overall in the range of 3.096% to 2.945%.
The yield on the two-year German bond fell 10.9 basis points to 2.408%, dropping sharply in the 15 minutes leading up to 21:00 on Friday, with a weekly cumulative decline of 19.4 basis points. The yield on the 30-year German bond fell 4.9 basis points to 3.541%, with a weekly cumulative decline of 4.4 basis points.
The spread between the 2-year and 10-year German bond yields rose 3.592 basis points to +54.825 basis points, with a weekly cumulative increase of 9.626 basis points.
